Answer:

We are what we pretend to be. So, there is no perfectly packaged "realistic" us. But there does exist a room within us that comprises of ethics, morals and discipline, which we can never disobey. And, if you consider that as a self image then, yes my self image is as realistic as bread and butter we crave.

Your self-image determines your life. The way you see yourself is actually your blueprint, and your mind, subconsciously and rigorously, will follow the blueprint. “But I want to change”, you say, and that's a conscious decision.
