Answer:
Dear editor,
I am writing this letter to express my unhappiness regarding the problems in the public transport in our area, which have made traveling difficult for the last few months.
During the last few months, the number of people taking the bus or the train has increased. As a consequence, during rush hours, it is hard to take the bus or train since they are always full. Another problem is the bus conditions. As they are old, they usually break down, causing passengers to be late to work, appointments, or class.
These situations affect passengers daily. For example, last Monday I had an appointment at 5 o'clock with my dentist. I took the bus at 3:30, taking into consideration the traffic problems. However, I arrived late and lost my appointment. The first bus was too full, and no more passengers could hop on the bus. The second bus, which came 30 minutes later, broke down and all the passengers had to wait for another bus to come. As a consequence, I arrive at my appointment an hour later.
I believe that the public transport problems have a solution. As regards the buses, the government should replace them with new ones. Also, they should increase the train and bus' frequencies so that all the passengers could arrive at their destinations on time and travel comfortably.
All the best.
