The correct answer is D) They lived together in poor conditions, and all family members worked on the farm.

A migrant family most likely find themselves during the Great Depression in the following condition: They lived together in poor conditions, and all family members worked on the farm.

Poverty and suffering are two words associated with the United States Great Depression. After the US stock market crashed in October 1929, people lost their jobs, many banks went bankrupt, and many companies closed. US citizens lived a terrible economic time that left people in poor economic conditions. Immigrants had even greater problems. They were not in their native country. They lived together in poor conditions, and all family members worked on the farm to survive.

Compare and contrast the middle colonies and southern colonies during the restoration era.
boyakko [2]

Both the Southern and Middle Colonies had fertile farmlands, but only the Middle Colonies was able to provide trading opportunities, thanks to their coastal lowland and bay-provided harbors. Southern Colonies highly contributed to the rise of cash crops such as rice, tobacco, and indigo. Slaves cultivate huge tracts of land and plantations owned by wealthy aristocrats and large landowners. On the other hand, Middle Colonies were more suitable for growing grain and livestock, with its environment ideal for small to large farms. More diverse workforce also exists in the Middle Colonies, consisting of farmers, fisherman, and merchants. Another notable contrast between the two colonies is that, for the people of the South, life developed as rough and rural while people of the Middle countries are deeply connected to the Church and village community.

How were the Aborigine people affected when their children were forced to live with British families or in institutions?
loris [4]

The Aborigines found themselves in a situation were they were systematically assimilated into a new culture without being able to do anything. The children where taken away from their parents, and they were raised by people that were of British descent or were educated in British based institutions. That led to the children learning only what their British parents and institutions were teaching them, thus not being able to preserve anything from the Aboriginal culture.

Also, there were forced marriages between the British settlers and the Aboriginal women with the purpose of ethnically wiping out the Aborigines in few generations. That was one of the worst methods that has been used for destroying indigenous people.
