Answer:

According to this description the area  of the disc is:

1650in^{2}

On the other hand, the area of a circumference is given by the following equation:

A=\pi r^{2}  (1)

Where r is the radius.

If we want to know the possible lengths of  for the circular disc, we will have to apply equation (1) for both areas:

For A=1650in^{2}:

1650in^{2}=3.14 r^{2}

r=\sqrt{\frac{1650in^{2}}{3.14}}

r=22.92inches

For  A=1700in^{2}:

r=\sqrt{\frac{1700in^{2}}{3.14}}

r=23.26inches

Therefore the radius could be 22.91 inches or 23.26 inches

Answer:

The length of its radius between 22.9 and 23.26

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula:-

Area of circle = πr² where r is the radius of circle.

It is given that, a  circular disc has an area that measures between 1,650 and 1,700 square inches.

We have to find the range of radius of the circle.

there area two cases,

<u>1).   For  Area = 1650 inches² find radius</u>

Area = πr²

1650 = 3.14 * r²

r² = 1650/3.14 = 525.477

r =√ 525.477

r = 22.9

<u>2).  For  Area = 1700 inches² find radius</u>

Area = πr²

1700= 3.14 * r²

r² = 1700/3.14 = 541.401

r = √541.401

r = 23.26

Therefore length of its radius between 22.9 and 23.26

On the first day it was posted online, a music video got 500 views. The number of
levacccp [35]

Answer:

2815 views

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

⇒ Views on first day = <u>500</u>

⇒ Rate of increase = <u>28%</u>

============================================================

Creating a function :

⇒ Let y be the <u>total number of views</u> and x be the <u>number of days since posted</u>

⇒ y = 500 (1 + 0.28)ˣ = y = 500(1.28)ˣ

============================================================

Solving :

⇒ y = 500(1.28)⁷

⇒ y = 500(5.62949953)

⇒ y = 2815 views (nearest whole number)

Suppose f(x)= x^2. What is the graph of g(x)= f(4x)?
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

Option A is the correct one.

Step-by-step explanation:

If f(x) = x² then g(x) = f(4x) = (4x)² = 16x² ........ (1)

Now, for any real value of x, the g(x) is positive.

Therefore, option B and option C is not correct.

Now, from the graph given in option A, it is clear that for y = 5, x value is near ±\frac{1}{2}.

So, putting x = \frac{1}{2} in the equation (1), we get g(x) = 16(0.5)² = 4 which is close to 5.

Therefore, option A is the correct one. (Answer)
