I kinda feel like this question is purely opinion based. But in my opinion it was because of the Germans blockading Britian's ports. That led to the sinking of the Lusitania, some of them being American lives. German continued to sink more ships trying to pass the blockade. For the least impact part, it would have to be the fact that Germany made a deal with Mexico (Germany offered U.S. land in exchange in the war effort). This is purely opinion based, because the question itself is opnion based.

Explain the significance of the Silk Road in trade and cultural diffusion. Be sure to use specific examples. 4 sentences minimum
adoni [48]

The Silk Road trade allowed for diffusion of technologies to go throughout Eurasia. For instance, silk-making technology from China was able to diffuse and reach areas in Europe. Another example would be the religion of Buddhism. Buddhism originated in India and made its way to China along the Roads, and changed a bit along the way.

What was the difference in electoral counts between George w Bush and al gore during the 200 presidential campaign
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

In the national popular vote, Gore received 48.4 percent while Bush received 47.9, losing by over 540,000 votes. U.S. presidents, however, are chosen by the Electoral College, a system in which “electoral votes” are assigned to states based on their population and then awarded as a lump sum to the winner of the popular vote in that state – currently, it takes 270 electoral votes to win. By the end of Election Night, 2000, Gore’s tally stood at 250 and Bush’s stood at 246 with Oregon, Wisconsin and Florida too close to call.
