Regarding the causes of Intelligent Quotient, Sir Francis Galton says that the intelligence or IQ in an individual is the cause of heredity and it’s inborn.

Further explanation:

Francis Galton is best known for his concept of intelligence. He believes that various aspects of human nature (including intelligence) can be measured scientifically. Galton in his work “Heredity Genius”, he uses the word genius to refer an individual’s ability which is highly exceptional and also inborn.

GALTON’S VIEWS ON INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT

According to Galton, intelligence is the ability of an individual which is inborn and heredity. He says that a genius is a person who has this quality which is highly exceptional.

In his study of “Heredity Genius”, he used the bell-shaped Normal Curve which describes the differences in individual intellectual ability. In this study, he attempts to investigate the role of heredity on an individual’s intellectual abilities.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You forgot to attach the section "English mariners improve seamanship." However, we can comment on the following.

Jamestown colonists had to use every resource they had wisely because they faced many problems when they arrived at the North American territory in 1607.

At the beginning of the settling, the colonists had many problems to survive due to the lack of supplies, the weather, and the general conditions of the new land. They could overcome the situation with the help of the Native American Indians. However, years later the relationship got complicated and different issues started to create serious issues between Native Indians and white English settlers.

So that is why they had the develop maritime skills to take advantage of the rivers and the sea to succeed.

KengaRu [80]
