Well..
If y = 20 then we can set up our equation 
2/5 = 0.4
So in its place i will just put 0.4
20 = 0.4x  we just divide both sides by 0.4 
÷0.4 = ÷0.4 It cancels out on the right side and we solve for the right
20 ÷ 0.4 = 50 

So when 
y = 20 
then..
x = 50
