If you do 1,000,000 people divided by 1,000 mi^2, you would get 1,000 people per 1mi^2.

If Alaska had the same number of people per square mile as Rhode Island, its population would be calculated as 663,000 mi^2 times 1,000 people = 663,000,000 people.

Rhode Island has 1,000,000 people within an area of 1000 sq miles.....
1,000,000/1000 = 1000 people per sq mile

if Alaska had the same number of people per square mile (1000 people per square mile)...and it has 663,000 square miles....1000 * 663,000 = 663,000,000....it would have a population of 663 million people.

Solve with work shown. X/3+6 equals -6
8090 [49]
We start out with x/3+6=-6. Subtract 6 from both sides, and you get x/3=-12. Multiply the equation by three and you get x=-36. x=-36 should be your final answer.

Two angles are supplementary. The measure of one angle is 54 more than the measure of the other angle. What is the measure of th
il63 [147K]

Answer:

bigger angle is 117°

Step-by-step explanation:

x+x+54= 180 (when two angles are complementary it means that their sum is 180 degrees)

2x+54=180

2x= 180-54

2x=128

x=126/2

x= 63

x1= smaller angle

x1= 63

x2= bigger angle

x2= 63+54

x2=117

Find the domain and range of 1/t+2
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

Domain = (-∞, -2) ∪ (-2, ∞).

Range =  (-∞, 0) ∪ (0, ∞).

Step-by-step explanation:

t can't have the value -2 because that would make  1/(t + 2) = 1/0 which is undefined.

So the domain is All real values of t. except t = -2.

As t approaches infinity or negative infinity  f(t) approaches  zero, and as t approaches -2 from below or above f(t) approaches negative infinity or positive infinity.
