España también jugó su papel antes y durante la guerra, por lo que sufrimos las consecuencias de la posguerra durante años. El 7 de mayo de 1945, se firmaba el acta de rendición incondicional, que ponía fin al predominio del nazismo en Europa. Quedaba odio y rencor. Hoy, aquella ideología criminal vuelve a tomar auge en la Europa unida y tenemos que evitarlo.

La Guerra en España (1936-1939), llamada «civil», pero que fue militar, por supuesto, sirvió de campo de pruebas para Alemania e Italia. Hitler, tras denunciar las cláusulas sobre desarme impuestas a Alemania por el Tratado de Versalles, organizó un nuevo ejército y puso a prueba el nuevo armamento y las nuevas tácticas guerreras. Hitler y Mussolini, entregaron material de guerra a Franco y enviaron tropas especializadas a combatir en suelo español contra el gobierno republicano. Las otras potencias, encabezadas por Francia y apoyada por Reino Unido, se abstuvieron de intervenir, desarrollando su política de «No intervención», porque la guerra de España venía a complicar el juego estratégico que se desencadenaba en Europa. Todo fueron ventajas para el nazismo y el fascismo español. La República quedaba abandonada a su suerte.

How did the environmental movement have its impacts on the United States?

It was how Earth Day came to be celebrated and was how things like the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act were passed and the Environmental Protection Agency was created to help clean up chemical waste and any other pollutants. Obviously without these things we’d have a huge problem and we depend on them greatly if you think about it.
