When I arrived at Meroë, I noticed there was an abundance of ceramic and Iron products. The number of merchants trading pottery caught my attention, as well as all the products made from Iron. Metalworking seemed to be an important factor in the economy of the city and the people dedicated to the production of these products are considered to be among the best in the world. I also saw beautiful temples. Very similar to those found back in Egypt. There were numerous pyramids surrounding the city.
