Answer:

< is for AND

> is for OR

*important* - this only applies if x is on the left (like x < 7) ( not like 7 < x )

Step-by-step explanation:

one thing that helped me a lot when I was learning this is to remember this symbol < is like an alligators mouth it's "eating" or opening up to the bigger number if that makes sense so if x > 7 then it's x is greater than 7. if if that doesn't make sense you can always think of it as the arrow is pointing to the smaller number.

as far as AND and OR something my teacher taught me is this: if it's this x < 7 then it's less thAND

and if the arrow is this way x > 7 it's greatOR

AGAIN this is all assuming x is on the left side of the arrow bc that's the way most teaching do it

hope this helps

What's the sum of an infinite geometric series if the first term is 156 and the common ratio is 2∕3?
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

468

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for infinite sum of geometric series is;

S_∞ = a1/(1 - r)

Where;

a1 is first term

r is common ratio

We are given;

a1 = 156

r = ⅔

Thus;

S_∞ = 156/(1 - ⅔)

S_∞ = 156/(⅓)

S_∞ = 468
