I feel this is a reasonably basic summary of the key elements. The best description of why I believe this offered is " Yes, because it focuses on the details from the beginning, the obstacles from the middle, and the resolution from the end."

The author claims that West Side Story was important for all of the following reasons EXCEPT:
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

few of the actors were people of color.

Explanation:

The author of the text reveals that the musical "West Side Story" was extremely innovative, which justifies its success and influences all these years.

According to the author "West Side Story", just as "Romeu and Juliet" showed the forbidden love of two young people who were part of two different social groups (white and Latin), the plot unfolded as a modern-day turf war, introducing serious issues like gang violence and ethnic prejudice on Broadway. In addition, fast and efficient choreography and language deliberately incorporated the physicality and vernacular of street life.

However, the musical was not innovative in hiring dark-skinned actors.

What did Galarza think of and learn from his experience of school in America? Write a response in which you describe what Galarz
Flauer [41]

This question is about "Barrio boy"

Answer and Explanation:

Galarza is apprehensive about going to American school, but he was anxious about how he could learn English and become a proud American, as he himself says.

When he arrives at school he gets tense, because he thought that the teachers could be rude and that he would be the only boy not to speak English, but he had a very different experience, which helped him a lot to form a thought about the country in which he was living. First, the teachers were very kind and patient and taught him English very calmly. He was not the only foreigner and had the company of many friends, even Americans who helped him to speak correctly. Galarza then realized that this was a country that also had kind and solicitous people.
