HURRRY 30 POINTS PLEASEE HELPIn "The Most Dangerous Game," how does the setting impact Rainsford?
Furkat [3]

Answer:

Sanger Rainsford experiences a significant transformation and gains perspective after being hunted by the maniacal General Zaroff throughout Ship-Trap Island for three consecutive days. ... Unfortunately, Rainsford falls off the yacht and must swim to General Zaroff's nearby island.

It is a brutal place, with no softness, where every move could be your last and danger is always around the corner. Thus the setting clearly establishes the kind of arena where the "game" will be played, foreshadowing the danger and violence.

The setting influences the plot of the story because in that time period hunting wasn't unusual. ... It affects the plot because Rainsford first hides in a tree, but if he hadn't, he might have been shot dead. The story takes place on an island, making it hard for anybody to either find you or escape.

Read the excerpt from Act I, scene i of Romeo and Juliet.
Olegator [25]

What Inference can be made?

We know its not that he is unaware of Romeo's troubles because he is clearly speaking of them. We also he is not the reason for his despair, he does not blame himself but only describes what Romeo appears to look.

Lastly, we find that he is not annoyed as the tone in his speech does not give context of this. He actually tries for a solution in lines 125 and 126.

So the answer is: He is very concerned about Romeo.
