Answer:

B) Use eloquence to spread knowledge for the common good.

Explanation:

Marcus Tullius Cicero was famous Roman orator, thinker, philosopher, lawyer and writer who wrote many books on philosophy, politics, and rhetoric. He became one of the most famous philosophers of his time.

According to him, wisdom and eloquence in everything that a person does matters. One must be devoted to duty, have ethical responsibility, and maintain a strong moral code. He placed humanity at the center of the world and also advocated for the importance of education. But, he also points out that education is not an end in itself. Man must learn and educate himself but that alone must not be the only aim. And those great thinkers who are already educated on matters of the world should use their eloquence to spread knowledge to other people.

How did Thoreau’s “Civil Disobedience” pave the way for significant events later in history?
goldenfox [79]
In "Civil Disobedience," Thoreau championed the idea that if a government is not going to improve itself, then it is the duty of the people to refuse to support it. This paved the way for non-violent protests, such as those led by Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr.
