Answer:

The least amount of money they could have spent is $24

Explanation:

To get the least amount of money they could have spent, we will need to get the lowest common multiple of both numbers (6 and 8).

This means that we need to find that least number that is found in both multiplication tables

Multiples of 6:

6 * 1 = 6

6 * 2 = 12

6 * 3 = 18

6 * 4 = 24

Multiples of 8:

8 * 1 = 8

8 * 2 = 16

8 * 3 = 24

Noticing the two multiples, we can note that the lowest common multiple is 24.

This means that the lowest amount they could have spent is 24

Hope this helps :)

I'm stuck on a math question. "A submarine is descending to examine the seafloor 2100 feet below the surface. It takes the subma
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

-1,050

Step-by-step explanation: This is quite simple first we know that 2,100 is negative(-2,100) because it is descending/going down. So now we know that we can divide -2,100 by 2 which sums up to 1,050. But we are going to have to add a negative sign due to the fact that if the two integers you are dividing are opposite signs it would be negative. So if you add a negative sign to 1,050 it would be -1,050. Just to keep in mind that opposites make negative when dividing I will put the integer rules below.

Why are there 9 square feet in a square yard
Lelechka [254]
1 yard = 3 feet so 1 yard by 1 yard = 3 x 3 = 9 square feet.. This means that 9 squares that are 3 feet by 3 feet will fit into a square that is 1 yard by 1 yard.

The radius of the base of a cylinder is 27 cm and its height is 37 cm. Find the surface area of the cylinder in terms of π
Nonamiya [84]
Surface area of a cylinder = 2 x Pi x r^2 + 2 x Pi x r x h

R = 27 cm
H = 37 cm

Take away the Pi seeing as you want to keep it in terms of Pi

2 x 27^2 + 2 x 27 x 37 = 3456 Pi cm^2
Your answer is B
