What are the greenhouse effects on polar temperature records? Give examples
krok68 [10]

Answer:

Carbon dioxide raises global temperature by trapping heat that would otherwise escape directly into space. Also, warming temperatures in the Arctic may release even more carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases such as methane, by melting frozen soil called permafrost. For example, melting glaciers and icebergs in the poles claim increasing heat.

Examples of human-environment interactions
vichka [17]
Human-environment interactions is the intercations between the human social system and the ecosystem.

One example could be that the people in rural depends on the natural resources, such as the soil, land, and animals to farm, build facilities and hunt to sustain livelihood. Resources taken from the ecosystem are used, however one does not simply carry on like that. For instant when there is excessive cultivation, the soil nutrient would be used up causing soil erosion, leading to the soil no longer fertile enough to farm. Therefore, measures are carry out to preserve the land like growing different crops and using fertilizer.

Hope it helps!

How do we know how earths climate was long ago
natka813 [3]
It stared 30 years ago it appeared in the news .Indeed, Svante Arrhenius, the pioneering Swedish scientist who in 1896 first estimated the scope of warming from widespread coal burning, mainly foresaw this as a boon, both in agricultural bounty and “more equable and better climates, especially as regards the colder regions of the Earth.”

There were scattered news reports through the decades, including a remarkably clear 1956 article in the New York Times that conveyed how accumulating greenhouse gas emissions from energy production would lead to long-lasting environmental changes. In its closing the article foresaw what’s become the main impediment to tackling harmful emissions: the abundance of fossil fuels. “Coal and oil are still plentiful and cheap in many parts of the world, and there is every reason to believe that both will be consumed by industry so long as it pays to do so.”
