It demonstrates the idea of fulfilling your destiny, and following your dharma. Arjun makes the decision to fight and thus completes his duties, virtues and destiny. This is framed as the right decision, doing what you are supposed to do.

Answer:

According to the epic tradition in the Mahabharata, Arjuna was reluctant to fight against the Kuru Kingdom becuase he knew he would produce many casualties in the enemy. He knew that in the enemy lines were several memebers of his own family, therefore, he had to be convinced by Krishna.

The conversation between Krishna and Arjuna, was about courage, the duty of the warrior and human nature. This specific dialogue is a keypoint in Mahabharata and it is considered a classic text of Hinduism. According to Hinduism, Dharma is a concept that describes the laws, behaviors and acts that every single human should follow to be in harmony with the cosmos. The keypoints of Dharma are surveyed briefly during the conversation between Krishna and Arjuna and for that reason , his decision to fight sumarizes the guidelines of Dharma to be a good warrior and prince.

Explain the reason why Canada is thinly populated although it is the second largest country in the world.
Ket [755]

Weather will be the primary reason. Despite its huge size. the real habitable area is probably less than 10% of its geographical size. Even Southern Ontario is deemed by many I know to be "too cold to live". 90% of Ontario and Quebec are simply inhabitable. I also personally think the entire Manitoba and Saskachewan are not suitable for human habitation unless we can create a way to simply hibernate during the 6 month winter (why there are so few people in Montana and North Dakota?) The fact that Montreal are thrive as a vibrant metropolis is already sort of a miracle and we don't see many such large cities with such severe weather. The only other case I can think of is probably Moscow.

Which of the following are examples of the ways erosion affects the environment? I. Erosion introduces pesticides and toxins int
djverab [1.8K]

The correct answer is D. I., II., III., And IV. All the options are true.

The process is systematic and all the answers contribute to the same problem.

I. Erosion introduces pesticides and toxins into waterways, causing pollution.

Soils eroded due to agricultural exploitation carry pesticides, fertilizers and heavy metals that are introduced into the waterways and causing their contamination.

II. Polluted waterways decrease biodiversity.

The water of the waterways, being contaminated, intoxicates fish, plants and other living beings that in turn many of them are eaten by other living beings that can also suffer intoxication.

III. Eroded soil allows sediment to break off and clog waterways.

The lack of trees and the loss of soil properties do not allow the absolution of rainwater. Much land is carried by the wind in the form of dust and it ends up being deposited in waterways and another part of the earth is carried by rainwater to streams and rivers that end up with levels of sedimentation higher than desirable, and by gravity this sedimentation is deposited in the bottom of the waterways and finally obstructs causing flooding in large territories.

IV. Eroded soil becomes useless for agriculture.

Both flooded territories and lands whose river beds are polluted or simply eroded by imbalances in agricultural activity, become unusable land for agriculture or land with low agricultural productivity.
