Rome had an ideal seaport.

Rome was built on seven hills, which offered natural protection from invaders.

The climate of Rome was good for growing a variety of crops.

Answer: Options 1, 2 and 3.

Explanation:

For a city to develop, certain factors are to be kept n mind before the city develops. It includes easy accessibility to the people of that city with other cities either through land or through sea. It should not be very easily invaded by invaders.

Moreover the climate of the city should be appropriate for growing crops and doing agriculture in the city so that the farmers can grow food for other people. All these things were available in Rome, therefore making it a good site for a city.

What did the Supreme Court rule in regards to the "rule of law?" and How did it impact the case of US v Nixon?
Maru [420]
They were actually not so nice in this regard. They're different circumstances in this kind of regard. So, they practically disrespected and violated the Fourteenth Amendment. And because of this, this is what they did in regard of the law. I believe that this impacted the case becase they weren't sure whether to to believe in the 4th amendment or not to.

What did people use for shelter in the Paleolithic Age?
rosijanka [135]
Much of the time shelter was similar to a wigwam. Sticks laid to make a circular hut which was then covered with hides or materials such as brush, cattails, hay, etc. Tents were simply a more portable and temporary version. Winter encampments had better structures. This was where people spent the cold weather and were built to withstand it. You could find pit houses. Caves big enough to shelter a number of people were relatively rare. More often was the rock shelter. This had South facing exposure and an overhang of rock. One excavated French site showed that logs were piled against the rock and then covered. The covering was hides as many anchor stores were found along where the logs were. The inside was covered with seaweed. Communal living was common. You could pool resources and labor to build it and having multiple people in the same shelter provided additional heat. Remember that people didn't have the central heated, storm proof housing we enjoy. They were more acclimatized to cold weather and what we today think of as harsh conditions.
