Answer:

cognitive dissonance.

Explanation:

Cognitive dissonance occurs when an individual displays conflicting ideas or notions about an action which results in psychological breakdown because of that. People with a different notion about an idea tend to become psychologically uncomfortable until the inconsistency is resolved. This arises when people have a belief that contradicts with an information that is widely accepted, they try to resolve the conflict to reduce the psychological trauma. Trying to cope with those seemingly opposite ideas could be mentally stressful as you are being compelled to accept things that are not in line with your beliefs.

Answer:

Twenty four

Explanation:

An experiment can be explained as the testing of a hypothesis. In the experiment, an independent variable can be manipulated and the dependent variable could not be manipulated. The dependent variable could be measured and the extraneous variable could be controlled. The advantage of the experiment is that it is objective so the viewpoint of a researcher does not affect an experiment. So the date becomes more valid and reliable and not biased.

How did the spoils system affect President James Garfield and his successor Chester A.<br> Arthur?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
The Spoils system is a model for setting up civil offices where employees are replaced by individuals chosen by the party that wins the election. This type of system does not take into account the capacity of individuals, but their connection with the party. President Garfield was murdered by a civil servant just for this cause. When Arthur, the vice president, took over, he chose not to keep that system, opting to sign thePendleton Act of 1883, which ensured the insertion of the merit-charge model.

Similarities between islam and christianity
Kamila [148]
Some Similarities between Islam and Christianity are that both are monotheistic religions: that is they believe that there is only only good (unlike Hinduism and ancient Greek religion)

Further, they both believe that the God spoke to Abraham- that's why they're both called Abrahamic religions.

They both believe in some people to whom the God spoke, including Jesus (but for Islam Jesus is only a prophet, not a God)
