One distinction of the american infantry during the revolutionary war era was its use of
oee [108]

One distinction of the american infantry during the revolutionary war era was its use of Volley Fire.

Volley Fire is a military tactice developed with the advent of rifles and guns in the 16-17th Century.

In this tactic, a line of riflemen fire together and while they reload their weapons, another line of soldiers fire their weapons.

This is done to ensure constant firing, to make up for lost time in reloading and make up for missed shots.

The aim is to consistently be on the offensive.

It is most closely associated with the Dutch forces but was used by American forces against the British.

tia_tia [17]
He shared it with French royals. When he became the King of England he didn't have to share it with anyone anymore and had his own kingdom that was separate from French nobles and French royalty. Since then, 1066, the Norman dynasties ruled the British Isles that they conquered.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of having the presidentchosen by the people rather than the legislature?
quester [9]

Answer:

If/when chosen by the people you get a more appealing outcome.

Because... The determining factors are YOUR family, friends, and town-folk. It's the people you grew up with. So you all are aware of the same problems in your city/state and you are more than likely both thinking of the same solution. Where as, if chosen by a legislature, you have a bunch of well paid senators who may not see all the things normal people do since they work and live indoors and nowhere near the problems most of the time. They don't care for the middle to lower classes. Most just care about the rich and how to make themselves better and wealthier. It sucks to see, and even more to be living in this kind of world but it's just how it is.
