The branch of philosophy that deals with beauty is Axiology!
Axiology is divided into two main parts : Ethics (which i'm sure you're already familiar with) and Æsthetics! Aesthetics deals with standards of beauty and art.
The term for the significant growth in population following WWII is the "baby boom." We also now refer to those people as "baby boomers"
