Solve for n:
2 n + 1 = 5

Subtract 1 from both sides:
2 n + (1 - 1) = 5 - 1

1 - 1 = 0:
2 n = 5 - 1

5 - 1 = 4:
2 n = 4

Divide both sides of 2 n = 4 by 2:
(2 n)/2 = 4/2

2/2 = 1:
n = 4/2

The gcd of 4 and 2 is 2, so 4/2 = (2×2)/(2×1) = 2/2×2 = 2:
Answer:  n = 2

I. Getting the Phone Call:
Montano1993 [528]

The correct answer is C) Reality shows are one of the most popular and successful types of television shows being produced today.

If Donatavious Tindell was to compose a letter to his mother, trying to persuade her that it was a good thing for him to be on a reality show, the statement from that letter that would be a FACT would be "Reality shows are one of the most popular and successful types of television shows being produced today."

The question is asking us for the statement that would be a fact, which means the kind of statement that could be demonstrated, proved with facts and numbers. That is why the correct answer is the letter "C," the other statements are subjective opinions.

The fact of reality shows is that reality shows are one of the most popular and successful types of television shows being produced today. This fact can be proven through audience numbers and statistics made by networks, and also by the number of advertisers that sponsor the shows.
