Write about what consequences, both positive and negative, Hamlet's "antic disposition" may have in the play.

Certainly the chief impact of the "antic disposition" or feigned madness that Hamlet adopts on other characters in the play is to greatly concern them as to what is ailing Hamlet. Note that it is Ophelia's terrified reaction to Hamlet appearing in her chamber that convinces Polonius that Hamlet is mad because of his thwarted love for Ophelia. Note what he concludes:

This is the very ecstasy of love,

Whose violent property fordoes itself,

And leads the will to desperate undertakings,

As oft any passion under Heaven

That does afflict our natures.

Polonius is thus led to believe that Hamlet is "mad" because of the way he had commanded Ophelia to not receive his attentions any more. Ophelia is clearly greatly concerned and shocked by Hamlet's madness. Act II scene 2 indicates how Claudius has enlisted two of Hamlet's old friends, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, to help him ascertain the cause of Hamlet's madness:

...so by your companies

To draw him on to pleasures, and to gather

So much as from occasions you may glean,

Whether aught to us unknown afflicts him thus

That open'd lies within our remedy.

Claudius and Gertrude therefore are concerned by Hamlet's "transformation" and hope to use his old friends to find out the cause and therefore, as Claudius says, cure him.

It is hard not to relate Hamlet's madness to a kind of detective story. Having introduced this new element into the plot of the play, the other characters desperately try to work out what the reason for this madness is and how they can cure it.

Can i please get someone to write a 300 word persuasive essay. I would prefer if it was about why kids should get holiday breaks
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

explanation below

Explanation:

Why kids should get holiday breaks from school

Many students study through their school terms for up to three months. These students eagerly anticipate holiday because they provide a welcome breaks for them and teachers from classes. Many people are of the opinion that these breaks are usually too long, and do take away valuable class time from students, thereby impacting their performance negatively in the following school year. These individuals do not see benefits these holiday breaks afford. The purpose of this essay is to show the importance of holiday breaks for these kids.

One of the benefits of these breaks from the educational point of view is that the breaks lighten students’ stress loads. Many students study in schools close to two or three months long and that could cause stress for the students. When these students get the holiday breaks, they take time off from their classes to relax, recuperate and then come back to school refreshed. If students do not have holiday breaks, they may not be able to have different extracurricular activities like church camps or go camping. Parents are known to teach their children who are on holiday breaks different life skills such as camping and fishing.

Another good reason why students should go on these breaks is that they will have more time to spend with their families because family relationships are still very important. During these period, the students would take out time to hang out with friends by going to picnics and beaches, interact with their respective family members and develop social skills that would help them become independent. The breaks can be fun for these children when they know they can play with friends and family members, without thinking of any school works.

Lastly, during holiday breaks, students will have the chance to take various courses that they need to apply for certain higher institutions or to improve their skills.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST ANSWER HELP ME!!!

Here's where to begin:

Each paragraph should be five to seven sentences long. It does not matter how long they are, just as long as they aren't micro-sentences.

first, you will need to get your audience's attention. your first sentence will be a sort of "Listen up! I'm about to blow your mind!" it could be a startling statement, a rhetorical question, quotation, a short funny story, or a short dramatic story. Ask yourself this: why should your audience listen? is it relevant to them? How? why should they believe what you say?

the second paragraph should express the need for change. now that you have your audience's attention, you will need to clearly show them what the problem is and the extent of it. in order to do this, you can use examples to illustrate how it impacts them, such as their happiness, future, health, family, neighborhood, Etc. you can use statistics, facts, figures, graphs, and diagrams. just remember to cite your sources and remember to check for credibility! give a good testimony, the more authoritative the better! the goal at the end of this paragraph is to have your audience wanting to hear your solution. they should agree that there's a problem.

the third paragraph should outline your answer or solution and show the audience how it will work. to do this, you need to outline your solution clearly, demonstrate how it meets the problem, and use examples to show how effective it is. you should support it with facts, graphs, testimonies, and you know the drill. :) the outcome of this paragraph is to get the audience to save themselves, "yes. This is possible, practical and sensible."

the end of your speech should give the audience satisfaction.

Good luck! I'm glad to help and answer any questions you may have about this assignment.
