Hey there!
Let's say I was to quote a book by Cardinal Cardigan I've read for an essay. (This isn't an actual book, just an example). The book contains the following sentence:
The reason that flowers are so beautiful is that they come in a variety of colors and scents that are appealing to many people.
In order to quote this, I would use the following formatting:
"The reason that flowers are so beautiful," states Cardigan, "is that they come in a variety of colors and scents that are appealing to many people."
Using this, your answer will be your first option.
Hope this helped you out! :-)
Answer:
There is a little girl looking into the eye's of a kitten. The kitten is looking back up at her, maybe they are trying to make a connection. But who knows?? The little girl look's like she had just ran from a party, for she is all dressed up. Maybe the kitten is hungry and want the girl to give her food. Or just maybe the little girl is lost, and the kitten is lost, so they become friends. Maybe it's the start of a fairytale, about a little girl and a kitten who are both lost, but share there stories hoping to find themselves again.
But who knows, anything could happen in this story once you use your imagination.
