The legistaltative branch takes into consideration the votes of the people and create laws, the exectutive branch enforeces these lawas, adn the judcial branch interprets the laws. All three branches keep each other in check so one branch doesn't get too much power. For instance, the legistalative branch can veto the executive branch.
