Geography is the study of the world including the thoughts and ideas that are involved. Location answers where you are, it is a very selective topic because you can be anywhere at any given time. There are two types of location: absolute and relative.
Place answers what kind of area you are in almost in the sense of what the location is like.
Human environment integration is how do people react and adapt to the environment around them. So if you are in a hot area, the natural thing to do is take off layers of clothes so you are not hot anymore.
Movement is how does transportation work and how do items get from one place to another. This is where maps and traveling come into play.
Region is the final theme of geography, this explains how is this area different from anywhere on the globe? A region that has the same features or details may be put into a group of pre existing things.

Grants offensive against lees army of north Virginia was fought in an are called from may 5 to 7 1864
jasenka [17]

When General Grant took command, the Union Army was still exchanging prisoners of war. This allowed each side to return their men to their country to fight again. Grant knew that the Union had more men and could produce more weapons than the Confederate. So he ended the prisoner exchange. This of course resulted in more men held in prisoner of war camps and creating problems for both sides, resulting in many deaths in these camps---both in the North and in the South. Grant also pressed his troops to stay on the attack. In some battles, his casualties were very high but he still knew that the Confederates could not replace their losses as easily as the Union could. Grant used General Sherman to force the war onto the civilian population and the industrial centers of the Confederacy. This was a new concept to most commanders. War was a duel between armies on the field of battle. The destruction of the industrial sites prevented an enemy from arming his troops and conducting war.

Describe Judaism’s impact on the beliefs of Christianity and Islam.
zlopas [31]

Answer: Islamic–Jewish relations started in the 7th century AD with the origin and spread of Islam in the Arabian peninsula. The two religions share similar values, guidelines, and principles.[1] Islam also incorporates Jewish history as a part of its own. Muslims regard the Children of Israel as an important religious concept in Islam. Moses, the most important prophet of Judaism, is also considered a prophet and messenger in Islam.[2] Moses is mentioned in the Quran more than any other individual, and his life is narrated and recounted more than that of any other prophet.[3] There are approximately 43 references to the Israelites in the Quran (excluding individual prophets),[4] and many in the Hadith. Later rabbinic authorities and Jewish scholars such as Maimonides discussed the relationship between Islam and Jewish law. Maimonides himself, it has been argued, was influenced by Islamic legal thought.[5]

Because Islam and Judaism share a common origin in the Middle East through Abraham, both are considered Abrahamic religions. There are many shared aspects between Judaism and Islam; Islam was strongly influenced by Judaism in its fundamental religious outlook, structure, jurisprudence and practice.[1] Because of this similarity, as well as through the influence of Muslim culture and philosophy on the Jewish community within the Islamic world, there has been considerable and continued physical, theological, and political overlap between the two faiths in the subsequent 1,400 years. Notably, the first Islamic Waqf was donated by a Jew, Rabbi Mukhayriq.[6] And in 1027, a Jew, Samuel ibn Naghrillah, became top advisor and military general of the Taifa of Granada.[7]
