<em>Answer is</em><em> </em><em>given below</em><em> </em><em>with explanations</em><em> </em>

<em>note</em><em> </em><em>23</em><em>.</em><em>96</em><em> </em><em>is</em><em> </em><em>approximately</em><em> </em><em>equals</em><em> </em><em>24</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

here \: x =  - 9 \: and \: y =  - 4 \\ r =  \sqrt{ {x}^{2} +  {y}^{2}  }  \\ r =  \sqrt{ { - 9}^{2} +  { - 4}^{2} }   \\ r =  \sqrt{81 + 16}  \\ r =  \sqrt{97}  \\     \alpha  =  { \tan}^{ - 1}  \frac{y}{x}  \\  \alpha  = tan ^{ - 1}  \frac{ - 4}{ - 9}  \\  \alpha  = 23.96 \\ we \: know \: that \: polar \: coordinates \: is \: in \: theform \: of \:  \\(  r, \alpha ) \\ required \: polar \: coordinate \:  \: is \: ( \sqrt{97} ,24)

vfiekz [6]

Answer:

8 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

rental fee = 12 + 4/hr

spent = 44

44 = 12+4(hr)

32 = 4(hr)

Before Christmas, the price of a shoe in a Heel's Store for Women was $79. At the post-Christmas sale, the price was $43. By wha
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

54.4%

Step-by-step explanation:

Find this by dividing 43 and 79:

\frac{43}{79}= 0.5443

Multiply this by 100 to convert to a percent (or just move the decimal to the left two spaces):

0.5443*100=54.43

Round to the nearest tenth (one decimal place):

54.43=54.4

The price was reduced by about 54.4%

Please help. question in the photo!
Alja [10]

well, if m = 1, let's see, then f(x) = √(mx) = √(1x) = √x

and then g(x) = m√x = 1√x = √x

well, if both equations are equal, then their ranges are also equal.

now, if m = "any positive real number"

f(x) = √(mx)  = √m √x will yield some value over the y-axis

g(x) = m√x will yield some range over the y-axis, however, "m" is a larger value than "√m".

what that means is that so long "m" is a positive real number, the ranges of f(x) and g(x) will be the same over an infinite range on the y-axis, even though g(x) is moving faster than f(x), f(x) is moving slower because √m makes a stretch transformation which is smaller than one "m" does.
