Federalists are the followers of the federalist party, which is also the first political party of the United States of America. It existed up-to 1820 and they emphasized a strong federal government backed up by strong financial institutions. They enforced the need of national bank and economic growth of the young nation. Above mentioned statement reflects the need of the strong national government over the state government.

3. They wanted more religious freedom.
4. They wanted more freedom.
