Which two scenarios are examples of internal conflict? Rosa must submit her book report on Monday. By Sunday afternoon, however,

she has completed only half of her report. She can hear her teacher’s voice inside her head telling her to finish it, but she really wants to go shopping with her friends instead. Rosa cannot decide what to do. Mitchell was supposed to return home by 6:00 p.m. It’s now 8:45 p.m., and he is still in his car, waiting for the road to be cleared of the rubble. The landslide has interfered with his plans. Gina has just received the results of her husband’s medical test. The results are not positive, and Gina’s worst fears have come true. Gina is mulling over the idea of tearing up the report and throwing it away. However, in her heart, she knows that the right thing to do is to get her husband the best treatment possible. Ralph is driving to a baseball game with his friend Elle. She asks him to stop at a shopping mall on the way and help her find a new dress. Annoyed, Ralph drops Elle at the mall without saying a word to her and drives off to the game. The forecast is calling for heavy winds and a severe hailstorm. Sanjay wants to reach home early. As he steps out of the office, it grows dark, and hail begins to hit the ground. He feels that he is at the mercy of the weather.

Internal conflict would be Rosa’s situation (because she is practically mentally fighting with herself, because one side of her is telling her to do the work while the other side is telling her to go shopping, resulting in a dilemma about what to do even though she knows that the first decision would be right) and Gina’s situation (one side of her is leaning towards tearing the paper while the other side of her is pulling her towards getting the treatment, also causing a dilemma even though she knows the right decision would be the latter).

When you write concisely, your message is far easier to read. You can use many strategies to write more concisely, including con
trapecia [35]

Answer:

The most likely reasons a statement may not be concise are unnecessary qualifiers, redundant pairs of words, and wordy sentences.

Explanation: There are many reasons why a text can be unconcise. One of the most common ones is the use of unnecessary qualifiers, such as "definitely", "really" or "undoubtedly", since they add a redundant and informal meaning to the sentence. Another reason is to use repetitive pairs of words, such as; "one and only", since the phrase is too long and the first word already conveys the message. Finally, wordy sentences are the biggest obstacle when writing. If a sentence has words such as "given the fact that" the message is delivered, but can cause the reader to go back a few times to understand correctly.
