Answer:  The required value of 'w' is 5 units.

Step-by-step explanation:  We are given the following formula:

P=2l+2w~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(i)

We are given to find 'w' in units given that  P = 30 units and l = 10 units.

Substituting the values of 'P' and 'l' in equation (i), we get

P=2l+2w\\\\\Rightarrow 30=2\times 10+2\times w\\\\\Rightarrow 30=20+2w\\\\\Rightarrow 2w=10\\\\\Rightarrow w=5.

Thus, the required value of 'w' is 5 units.

P = 2L +2W
P - 2L = 2W
(P - 2L)÷2 = W

If P = 30 and L = 10, substitute

W = (30 - 2(10)) ÷ 2
W = (30-20) ÷ 2
W = 10 ÷ 2
W = 5

Answer:

Pretty sure its C. equal to

Step-by-step explanation:

In physics, potential energy is changed into kinetic energy while an object moves. this energy isn't lost, but simply changed into kinetic energy.

So, if the question is referring to the puck being in mid-air after the drop, then its definitely C.

B

(\sqrt{12})^7 = 12^{7/2} ≠ 12^{1/7}

C

(\sqrt{4})^5 = 4^{5/2} ← correct

D

Maximize x and y. P=3x +2y
Natalka [10]

P = 3x + 2y

There is an accompanying graph in this problem. In the graph, there are 4 points to consider. I'll just assign letters on each point.

Point O is found in x = 0 ; y = 0 or (0,0)

Point A is found in x = 8 ; y = 0 or (8,0)

Point B is found in x = 6 ; y = 5 or (6,5)

Point C is found in x = 0 ; y = 8 or (0,8)

We will substitute x and y in the equation by its values per point.

Point A = 3(8) + 2(0) = 24 + 0 = 24

Point B = 3(6) + 2(5) = 18 + 10 = 28

Point C = 3(0) + 2(8) = 0 + 16 = 16

The maximum value of the function P = 3x+2y is 28 and its minimum value is 16.
