the us had nothing to do with ww1 untill they discoverd a telegram from Germany to mexico saying that they would give mexico back some states in exchange for there military help. 2nd reason: German u boats/ submarines kept sinking us civilian ships.

basycaly if germany did not do all those things we would not have to join the war hope this helps!
