Is there only one way to create a factor tree

Mathematics

It depends on how many different factors there are. For example: 8 can turn into 4*2, which can turn into 2*2*2, so there is only one way. However, 16 can turn into 8*2, 4*2*2, then 2*2*2*2, or 4*4, into 2*2*2*2. The numbers always end up the same, but there are sometimes different ways to break the number down.
