The Great Plains region is assembled by: the States of Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota; portions of Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming ; aswell as certain areas within the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.

What all these places share in common is a remarkable expansion of flat land at their disposal and great conditions for dry-farming and cattle ranching. Naturally, the way to make a living in these regions is almost exclusively through farming activities.

Why was George Washington reluctant to lead the continental army
zalisa [80]
Actually, he wasn't reluctant . He had a uniform made and went to Congress in June of 1776. He told them he was the only one with war experience and they needed him. He cited his French and Indian war experiences as a British officer. The Congress accepted what he offered, but also warned him if he failed he would not be treated nicely by history

What were the charges against the king? Why were most Of the condemnations addressed against him?
erica [24]
If you are referring to the British king and the charges that the colonists made, then they were that he didn't care about the colonies and only wanted power and wealth for himself. He taxed them as he saw fit and they died in wars caused by him. They didn't want to participate in them anymore, nor did they want to pay taxes to him.
