There is typically more than one way to communicate an idea with regard to sentence structure, and how the sentence is structured contributes to its tone. For instance, short/brief sentences can contribute to a sense of hurry or haste. For instance let’s look at the following sentences:

I was late. I quickly ate. I brushed my teeth. I forgot to comb my hair. Then, I was out the door.

Can you feel the tone of urgency communicated by the short sentences?

Likewise, long and drawn out sentences can provide the tone of sluggishness and/or unwillingness. This is something to keep in mind when constructing your own sentences—as you are writing always be aware of your sentence structure and the tone it may communicating.

Answer:

Hi!

The answer to your question is that short sentences get to the point and can seem more honest.

Explanation:

Writers have to be careful with the tone they use for their work as the tone will affect how readers perceive the piece.

By using short, direct sentences, writers look to sound more direct, straight forward, and therefore, honest.

Answer and Explanation:

To solve the challenges of observing children, I would suggest that the team be divided into groups and that the large volume of children be divided into smaller groups. Each team group would be responsible for one or two groups of children, depending on the number of groups formed. This would facilitate the monitoring of all children and prevent some of them from being neglected by the amount of work that the day care center presents.
