The examples has to do with his people trying to raise their own point of view when a misundertanding raised to the point of altering their unity. Tutu was right to be fair to both sides in order to be impartial and to raise only onw point of view to remain united

Tutu insisted that people only validated their own point of view and whenever they were in fear they would establish it even higher instead of trying to understand another man's point of view. He thought that the people need to gather around common ideas and goals and work together to deliver them alternatively of just following what they believe is right.
