Turkey is in Western Asia (Anatolian and Armenian Highlands) (97%) and the Balkans of Europe (3%).To north it borders the Black Sea, between Bulgaria and Georgia. To the south it borders the east side of the main opening of the Aegean Sea, which has a complex western coast, then the Mediterranean Sea, between Greece and Syria, with which it has the longest land border of any other country.
