A bicameral national legislature

Further Explanation:

The constitution of the United States organizes a section that includes federal laws governed by the federal government. The governing section includes President, Vice-President, administrative authorities, Cabinet, Committees, boards, council, and other self-governing agencies. A bicameral legislature is a type of system of government under the federal powers where a legislative body of the government is distributed between the two separate houses. The two chambers of USA are the House of Representatives and the Senate. The reason behind the bicameral legislature is to prevent the misuse of too much power of the legislative branch. It is done to impose an inter-branch check. It provides checks and balance. It further stops abuses of power. The service term of the House of Representatives is two years. Federalism is the system of government in which the authority or the power is divided between the federal and state government. USA has given some powers to the federal government and the other powers to the state government and some powers to both. The state has its own legislative, executive and judicial branch. States have to pass only those laws which they are empowered to and it should not violate the Constitution. The federal government identifies the foreign policy, where the government has the sole power to form the treaties and declare war, exporting and importing of goods. The federal government has only the sole authority to print the money. Some governmental responsibilities are shared by both the state government and the federal government. This includes business regulation, taxation. Federalism was formed in 1787 in the USA. There was two main political theory of this concept. First one is dual federalism and the second one is cooperative federalism. The federal government has jurisdiction only in matters which are mentioned in the Constitution.

A recent study at a liberal arts college concluded that demand elasticity is 0.91 for college courses. The administration is con
Anarel [89]

Answer:

B. increase tuition in order to increase revenue

Explanation:

Price elasticity of demand is a concept that seeks to measure the sensitivity of demand to the price of a good or service. Thus, if demand is elastic, it means that even small variations in price have a strong impact on demand. Conversely, if demand is inelastic, variations in the price of the good will not greatly affect demand, meaning consumers will continue to demand that particular good or service. The calculation of the price elasticity of demand consists in the division between the variation of the quantity demanded by the variation in the price practiced. If the result is greater than 1, demand is considered elastic (price sensitive). Conversely, if elasticity is less than 1, demand is considered inelastic (little price sensitive). If elasticity equals one, then the change in demand is exactly the same as the price change.

In the case of this faculty, the demand for courses is 0,91, so it's less than 1, therefore inelastic demand. This way, the college can maximize its revenue by increasing the tuition fee.
