Answer:

The Supreme Court´s decision allowed the federal government to maintain some control over trade within and across state borders.

Explanation:

The case was a landmark decision by the Supreme Court of the United States. It all started when Gibbons, the former business partner of Ogden, operated a steamboat on a route that was granted to Ogden after buying a license. The license he bought was granted by the Legislature State of New York and it stated exclusive navigation.

Gibbons went to court claiming that the Legislature had overexpanded its powers. The power to regulate navigation was granted to Congress by the Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution.

Finally, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Gibbons.

Explanation:

The reason why D). All of the Above is your answer is because Greek pottery gives us many historical hints that all of the answer choices say.

A). It gives us a clue about the Greek way of life is CORRECT because:

Greek pottery can give us a clue about the Greek life. This means that people that study the Greek pottery can make an educated guess or determination of what the Greek lifestyle was at that current time. This can be determined by the different designs, shape of the pot, and etc. Pottery has gave us more information about the Greek life and will keep educating us for more years to come.

B). We can establish a chronology based on the styles and modes is CORRECT because:

Greek pottery can also gives us a chronological timeline based on the styles and modes. This means that certain designs, styles, and modes could come from a different time period in the Greek life. For example, one pot could show us that it was made during the beginning stages of the Greek people, while another pot could show us that it was made during the middle ages of the Greek life. By knowing this information, we can make a timeline on how the art has changed over time.

C). It’s styles changed as a result of influences from the arts is CORRECT because:

Greek pottery also has changed overtime due to other influences of art from other empire's. The change of Greek art doesn't come out of no where from someone's mind, the art comes from other arts. For example, someone that is from Greece could travel somewhere else and see the other styles of art work, and could come back to Greece and paint the artwork themselves, which spreads across the Greek empire.

Therefore, since all of them are correct, your answer would be D). All of the Above
