Answer:

  1. 25% of the fruit cup sold.
  2. 18.75% of veggie sticks sold.
  3. 43.75% of chips sold.
  4. 12.5% of water sold.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

In total snacks type item sold is 32.

Fruit cup items sold is 8.

Veggie sticks items sold is 6.

Chips item sold is 14.

Water items sold is 4.

To find:

percentage of each snack time sold = ? i.e

percentage of fruit cup = ?

percentage of Veggie sticks = ?

percentage of chips = ?

Percentage of water =?

Solution:

Formula  for Percentage of any item

\textrm{percentage of any item}=\frac{\textrm{number of items}}{\textrm{total number of items}}\times 100

∴ \textrm{percentage of fruit cup}=\frac{\textrm{number of fruit cup}}{\textrm{total number of items}}\times 100

= \frac{8}{32}\times 100\\ =\frac{100}{4}\\ =25\%

∴ \textrm{percentage of with veggie sticks}=\frac{\textrm{number of veggie sticks}}{\textrm{total number of items}}\times 100

= \frac{6}{32}\times 100\\ =\frac{600}{32}\\ =18.75\%

∴ \textrm{percentage of chips}=\frac{\textrm{number of chips}}{\textrm{total number of items}}\times 100

= \frac{14}{32}\times 100\\ =\frac{1400}{32}\\ =43.75\%

∴ \textrm{percentage of water}=\frac{\textrm{number of water}}{\textrm{total number of items}}\times 100

= \frac{4}{32}\times 100\\ =\frac{400}{32}\\ =12.5\%

Answer:

С. .

This method of sampling is unbiased.

Explanations:

A method of sampling is referred to as bias when there is an imbalance in the sampling probability among members of the total population.

In this example, we have a survey sampling that involves anonymous members, there's no way the sampling probability can be lowered for some members than others because members of the whole population are unknown.

This is a fair sampling method and it is unbiased.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Step-by-step explanation:

The given data set is:

Week 1: 600

Week 2: 300

Week 3: 500

Week 4: 900

The following are the steps to find the standard deviation:

Step 1. Jim enters the data and calculates the average or mean.

Step 2. Jim calculates the deviation from the mean by subtracting the mean from each value.

Data value (x)

600                                                                           25

300                                                                         -275

500                                                                         -75

900                                                                          325

Step 3. Jim squares each deviation to remove negative signs.

Data value (x)

600                                                                       625

300                                                                    75625

500                                                                      5625

900                                                                   105625

Step 4. Jim sums the squares of each deviation and divides by the count for the variance.

Step 5.Jim takes the square root of the variance to find the standard deviation.
