The Nubians are settlers who settled in a region near the Nile river. In present times, it is the northern region of Sudan and in the southern part of Egypt. So primarily they were settled in the northeastern part of the African continent. They were an ancient African empire and their history has been traced by the relics and artefacts found in the region. Writings have also been found that have helped shed light on the history of these culturally rich people from Africa. They go as far back as 2000 BC.
