Answer:

Food is the basic requirement for all human beings all over the world. The pattern of food is being changed from ancient times to now. Technology to produce food as increased but still food deficit is seen all around the world. 30% of the total world population are facing malnutrition diseases like kwashiorkor and marasmus. Why is this happening in the world? Even though the technology is improved so much .

The answer for food deficit is decreasing of the green belt all around the world to convert into buildings and commercial spaces. Framing occupation is not encouraged like the other professions around the world . Framers suffer loss due to natural calamities and this makes people move away from the profession of farming. This causes increase in the cost for the food due to decreased production, which causes the food not reachable to the below poverty line.

Harm to natural calamities by human activities causes the ground to be depleted and produce less yield. With increasing population and decrease in production leads to food deficit. Lack of knowledge of the farmers on effective way of farming is also the reason  of food deficit.

Which of the following is an example of an outdated theory based on the consensus of the scientific community ? A. Big Bang
Natasha_Volkova [10]

Answer:

B. Geocentric solar system

Explanation:

The scientific community is the one that accepts or dismisses theories. Some theories are accepted, and that is because there are enough evidence that support them, while some theories are dismissed as they have been proven over time that they are not correct.

One of the theories that is outdated and has been dismissed by the scientific community is the theory of the geocentric solar system. This theory has been in place and widely accepted for a very long time, pretty much two millenniums.

This theory was basically suggesting that the Earth is the center of the solar system. The Sun, Moon, all the other planets that were known, as well as the stars, were all orbiting around the Earth. This has been proven as wrong (except that the Moon is orbiting around Earth), and that the theory is far away from the truth, so naturally once there were enough evidence it was dismissed.

The lake effect occurs when ____ air mass moves over a ____ body of water.
AURORKA [14]

Answer:

-dry

-large

Explanation:

The lake effect occurs when dry air mass moves over a large body of water. When there's a dry air mass, be it warm or cold, and it moves over some large lake, thus large body of water, it changes its properties. The dry air mass picks up a lot of moisture while passing above the large body of water. As it does that, the air mass becomes wet. As it continues to move, this air mass will eventually come upon a natural barrier which will make it accumulate and go up, at certain area, the water vapor to condensate, and lot of precipitation to occur. Because this process will be happening constantly, the area will be receiving solid amount of precipitation, though the side of the water body from which the dry air mass is coming will be relatively dry.
