Self-concept refers to the collection of beliefs that a person has about himself. In other words, this refers to the way in which a person views himself. A person's self-concept is created based on the person's knowledge of his own interests, likes, dislikes, and other personal characteristics. Although it is different from self-awareness and self-knowledge, the concepts are closely related to one another.
