Answer: A) the death penalty

Explanation: Capital punishment, or the death penalty, has existed in the United States since the country’s first founders. Today, some people believe that governments do not have the right to punish criminals by taking their lives. Additionally, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the District of Columbia do not allow executions.

Explain the importance of the early civilizations that settled by the Indus River and Huanghe (Yellow) River.
Katena32 [7]
The Huang He, or Yellow river was very important in Ancient Chinese society. It's called the yellow river because of the huge amount of silt inside of it flowing down. Because of this, the soil around it was very fertile, and this was great for rice farmers.
The Indus River Valley civilization relied on the Indus River because it provides a source of water, travel, and irrigation for crops, as well as very fertile soil.
Hope this helps
