The Pueblos are a native-american group with origins on the deserts of New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. They used the Adobe style to build their houses; they first were made out of stone, and later adopted the use of sun-dried bricks made of clay, soil, sand and straw.
They depended on agriculture for their sustenance, feeding mainly from corn, beans, and squash. Given the hot and dry-climate of the desert, corn was a good choice for them, since the plant is sun-tolerant.
Thomas Jefferson, a spokesman for democracy, was an American Founding Father, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence (1776), and the third President of the United States.
American missionaries and fruit planters led to the change in Hawii because the government eventually became involved and took over the Hawaii. They went ahead and converted the indigenous people who were living there into Christians. This was the major government change.
