To the nearest whole number meaning without fractions, or in this case decimals. In the tenths place we have the # 5. When rounding, if the number to the right of your rounding place( to the nearest tenth, hundredth, whole #, ect.) , is higher than 4 then you increase the rounding place # by 1. If it is lower than the 4 then the rounding place # stays the same. So your answer is 850.

sorry for the horrible explanation.

How is mental math to add with decimals different from adding whole numbers using mental math.
Anna71 [15]
When using mental math to solve problems with decimals, it is harder to keep track of what number goes where and where the decimal spot goes as well. Although, with whole numbers in mental math, it is a lot easier to solve since there is no decimal and less numbers (unless you are doing whole number math with a large amount of numbers).

If 5n - 3 = 7n – 5, then n=

A -4

BO

o

D

6
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

The value of n is 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression 5n-3= 7n-5

In other to solve for n we have to perform a series of step wise operations as follows

collecting like terms we have

5n-7n= -5+3

-2n= -2\\

The negative signs will council out on both sides we have

2n= 2\\

Dividing both sides by 2 we have

n= \frac{2}{2}

n=1
