The correct answer is C, although I do believe that there should have been a "the" after "In" in that sentence. Sentence B is a run-on, same with sentence D. In sentence A, the comma cuts off the first part of the sentence.

The correct answer is

C) In spring, when the water is high, the lake surges over the rocks.

This sentence correctly uses the commas to go into more detail about spring.

Hope this helps!

Answer: In the situation where I would have to go hiding, I would bring along my phone, a notebook and some type of knifes or blades. I'd bring my phone just because I could look threw stuff I have written down in it and look at the pictures in it. I'd bring a notebook to write in as some type of diary and just to draw in if I get bored. Finally, I will bring some knives or blades to protect myself from any harm and use them to make useful things.

Explanation: Thats what I said on mine! hope this helps

How does paragraph 3 support the author's claim in the introduction that music can help develop our brains?
In-s [12.5K]

For any one in the future who needs this,

It gives general examples of brain benefits linked to musical training.

Recent brain research has shown some surprising benefits as a result of formal musical training. Learning to play a musical instrument appears to develop parts of the brain that can even influence academic results. The studies indicate that the earlier a child begins training, the more benefits there are. One such study showed that children who began musical studies before the age of seven had a more developed brain in the region where language production and auditory processing take place. Scientists believe there is mounting evidence to show that early musical training can improve brain function.
