Answer:

Makayla: "today in class we were talking about whether privacy or safety was better and I think its privacy."

Angie: "No I think it would be safety"

Makayla: "I feel like privacy would be more important because personal space is important. I wouldn't want random people all up in my business."

Angie: "Girl you need help! It's obviously safety because if random people knew your address then you would not be safe, you would have a bunch of weirdos knocking on your front door."

Makayla: "Oh my goodness that's why you put ghost mode on duhh. If you don't have privacy people can be reading all your messages and well, that's messed up and would feel very uncomfortable.”

Angie: “That may be true but if you're not safe then you could get hurt. Like if I went to the park alone at night if I'm not safe next thing you know I'm getting kidnapped and I never see home again... or you”

Makayla: “every conversation we have you always assume the worst and you overreact!!!”

Angie: "It happens like every 2 minutes how can you be so sure it won't happen to you. That’s why safety is more important than privacy.”

Makayla: “ay ay ay” *she said while exhaling

Makayla: “imagine being at work, Privacy helps us manage our reputation. We work in the same place so you know what I mean when I say People are very judgmental, they judge without hearing the whole story. With privacy, people won't do that because they know how to respect you!

Angie: "ugh whatever can we just agree that they are both important"

Makayla: "oh my god... I never thought of that."

Angie: "because you don't have an open mind like me."

Makayla: "ok because we will never get over it if we don't."

Angie: "MK talk to you tomorrow."

as they walk away in different directions...

Angie: "when will that girl get that obviously safety is better." *she mutters

Makayla: "REALLY I HEARD THAT ANGIE!"

*They start to laugh

Personal note:

Contribute to the development of the ideas in the text the Tipping Point
umka2103 [35]

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell is a book about how small actions at the right time, in the right place, and with the right people can create a "tipping point" for anything from a product to an idea to a trend. Gladwell is not a sociologist, but he relies on sociological studies, and those from other disciplines within the social sciences to write articles and books that both the general public and social scientists find fascinating and worthwhile. According to Gladwell, the "tipping point" is "that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire."

According to Gladwell, there are three variables that determine whether and when the tipping point for a product, idea, or phenomenon will be achieved: The Law of the Few, the Stickiness Factor, and the Power of Context.
