Active listening is an important part of communication because it shows the speaker that you are an attentive subject to the matter. The four elements of active listening are "Seek to understand before you seek to be understood". The second element will be "Be non judgmental", the third, "Give your undivided attention to the speaker". Finally, the fourth element of active listening will be "Use silence effectively".

Listening is very important. It shows the other person that you are paying attention to what they say. The 4 elements of listening are giving your undivided attention to that person, listening and being silent when they are talking , and seeking to understand not to judge
