6.70 for paint brushes. for 2 is 6.70×2=$13.40

35-13.40=$21.60 left after 2 paint brushes

4.80×4=$19.20 for 4 tubes of paint

21.60-19.20=$2.40 left after 4 tubes of paint and 2 paint brushes

A person is shopping for a new snowmobile. The probability that someone buys an arctic cat is 39%, a Polaris is 27% and a ski do
Andrews [41]

Answer:

The probability that someone buys either an arctic cat or a ski doo=\frac{57}{100}

Step-by-step explanation:

A person is shopping for a new snowmobile.

The probability that someone buys an arctic cat is =P(A)=\frac{39}{100},

The probability that someone buys a polaris=P(B)=\frac{27}{100} and

The probability that someone buys a ski doo=P(C)=\frac{18}{100}.

Now, The probability that someone buys either an arctic cat or a ski doo=P(AorC)=P(A)+P(C)

=\frac{39}{100}+\frac{18}{100}

=\frac{57}{100}

Which is the required probability.
