Answer:

Many Southerners claimed that the novel, Uncle Tom’s Cabin was full of lies and false and misleading information, claiming it was a dangerously subversive book.

Explanation:

Uncle Tom´s Cabin is one of the most influential books of 19th-century America. Her author is Harriet Beecher Stowe. Some people say that it even helped ignite the Civil War. It´s the story of a noble and dignified middle-aged black slave, Tom, who is beaten to death for not revealing the whereabouts of two fugitive slaves. Its crude depiction of the inhuman treatment of African Americans and the hell life was like for black slaves did not surely please readers in the South; such is human nature, nobody likes being told the truth in their face. If they´d used our contemporary language, Southerners would have said it´s fake news.

Why did the Byzantine Empire become more Greek than Roman?
Andreyy89
Byzantines didn't "become more Greek than Roman". They were already Greek to start with.
But anyways... lets not have me rant about that part.
The population was Greek. The empire was split into West and East. West centered on Rome (before the fall) and the East on Constantinople (A town in Greek). From the division working language was Greek.
Greek language and couture was more prevalent in the Eastern Roman Empire. When the fall of the West Byzantine court held onto the Latin language for official decrees and other state documents, but eventually even that was lost to the grater Greek influence.
